As part of the Democratic National Convention, Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim produced a brilliant 10-minute film that told Barack Obama’s personal story in greater detail than any of our 30-second spots could.
As time ran out and the opposition grew desperate, ugly attacks on Obama’s patriotism and associations began to increase. We edited the DNC piece down to the 60 seconds that went directly to Obama’s character – telling the story of Obama’s grandparents, describing the work ethic his mother passed along to him, and showing the values on which he was raised.
