Michael Axelrod
Michael Axelrod joined AKPD Message and Media in 2006 as Research Director, managing the firm’s client-based research activities. This included overseeing research for clients ranging from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to Governor Deval Patrick.
Michael continues to research for the firm and currently serves as an associate, working with clients on day-to-day message and strategy.
Prior to joining AKPD Michael worked in finance and organization on several campaigns from local and county races to statewide gubernatorial campaigns.
Michael is a 2005 graduate of Beloit College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. A four-year president of the College Democrats, Michael was in charge of the 2004 election efforts that turned out over 90% of eligible voters in Beloit.
Michael lives in Chicago.
